Fishing for Freedom
The Committee of Fishing for Freedom at Belton Lake, TX is sad to announce that the 2021 event will be our last. We have enjoyed the last 16 years putting on this event for the soldiers and we encourage you to take a soldier to the lake for a day of fishing whenever you can.We would like to thank BLORA and the Directorate of Morale, Welfare & Recreation at Fort Hood, TX for all their support and assistance throughout the years. We would also like to thank all the many sponsors who have helped to make the tournament such a success. Finally, we couldn't have made the event how special it was without the volunteers.
Our tournament was always about trying to include the soldiers in our community and showing them the fun and relaxation that a day on the water can be - please continue these efforts without us. Thanks again!
