 All American Anglers Club
The All American Anglers club is different from most bass clubs in the manner that the lakes are chosen and fished. We have a 50 mile perimeter centered in Killen, Tx. that contains 16 lakes where bass are fished for. Our monthly lake is not known to the members until the meeting on Tuesday(2nd Tue of month) prior to Saturday tournament. That lake is drawn from a container that contains all 16 within our 50 miles and can only be fished once until 12 have been drawn for that year. Our intension is to get back to the basics of fishing instead of relying on community holes and information. This format has proven to be challenging, competitive and more fun than one would think. If you bass fish and think this would be something for you, please contact one of the officers at the bottom of the page.
MEETINGS HELD 2nd TUESDAY OF THE MONTH AT TEXAS BOAT WORLD
The sleeping giant has awaken! Chad a.k.a. Bacon, Put it on us at Lake Buchanan this past Saturday with just under 9lbs and big bass honors. Chad has come along way since joining the club and we are all very proud of his win. This was even more special to him because he had been beaten last year on the same lake by less than a pound.

 Cen-Tex Bass Hunters
Cen-Tex Bass Hunters is a dedicated group of Bass fishermen who practice and promote conservation, good sportsmanship, and camaraderie among fellow anglers. The club services the Belton, Temple, Copperas Cove, Killeen and Gatesville areas of Central Texas. The club holds its monthly meetings the first Monday of each month at 7:00 P.M. at the VFW on 2305 and woodland trails road. The Club holds its tournaments the following weekend at various lakes throughout the state, which are determined by the club members. Each club tournament is a draw format tournament that helps anglers share and gain valuable information as well as promoting and building friendships within the club. The club holds several Open tournaments throughout the year and participates in B.A.S.S youth programs to promote the sport of bass fishing. The Club also participates annually in the PVA (Paralyzed vets of America) Bass Tournament by providing boats and fishermen to support this event. The club is also involved in numerous community events such as Toys for Tots and Adopt a Highway. Cen-Tex Bass Hunters donates monthly to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, which helps promote the club, the sport of Bass fishing, and give something back to the community.

 Central Texas Bass Anglers
Central Texas Bass Anglers is based out of the Killeen Fort Hood area in Central Texas. The CTBA was established in 1998 to improve the skills of bass anglers through a fellowship program and a friendly exchange of bass fishing techniques and ideas. We meet at 7 PM on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Hallmark Lanes in "The 11th Frame Lounge" in Killeen.
The CTBA fishes 12 club tournaments per year. Our tournament schedule includes such lakes as Fayette County, Bastrop, Decker, Belton, Waco and Stillhouse Hollow. We draw partners for club tournaments and allow guests to fish one tournament per year. Our tournament entry fees are $15 with an additional $5 for Big Bass which is optional. We pay 100% back at our club tournaments. Points for the CTBA Top Six, Angler of the Year, and Sportsman of the Year are accumulated from July through June.
Our club dues are $45.00 per year. The dues are used to pay our Top Six Championship, and provide funds for the club's banquet. Beginning in 2002, 45 percent of the club dues are set aside to pay Angler of the Year, Lunker of the Year and Sportsman of the Year award winners.
Central Texas Bass Anglers sponsors a couple of open tournaments on Stillhouse Hollow Reservoir on the 1st Saturday each month. Entry fee for the "Big Bass" tournament is $10, and the entry fee for the "5 Fish" (or 3 fish from June - September) tournament is $20 per team, with an 80 percent pay-back for each tournament. Participants register at the Rivers Bend Park boat ramp by 6:15 AM. Weigh-in is at 12PM. |
